Great Speeches [PLS 382]

The course attempts to recapitulate the key events in social and political history of the

20th century through the words of speeches delivered by the most prominent persons

in the past century. Underlining the role that individuals play in the active creation of the

internal and foreign policy, it gives particular attention to the importance of ideas and

visions in shaping political reality.
